North Shore Spirit Trail

The proposed Spirit Trail would be a connected network of paths and walkways throughout North Shore communities for pedestrians, cyclists, in-line skaters and people who use mobility aids.

Pending Capital Plan approvals the City is eligible receive $980,000 through the BC government’s LocalMotion program. This grant will assist the City in completing un-built portions of the Spirit Trail that wind through the Lower Lonsdale waterfront areas, Moodyville Park, on to Lynnmouth Park at the boundary with the District of North Vancouver. To the west the City is working with the Squamish Nation to develop a route that will eventually pass through the Mosquito Creek Marina connecting Waterfront Park to Kings Mill Park and on to the District of North Vancouver.
