40 Tips for Better Life - 2008

We recently came across 40 Tips for a Better Life on “Glich’s Life Blog” , both Ann Marie and I found it to be very profound. Both being Realtors in Vancouver we are in the business of helping people buy and sell homes. A home in Vancouver represents far more than a mere dwelling, but rather it is the stage to a fantastic lifestyle and arguably one of the best in North America.

We like to think that we sell not only Real Estate but the lifestyle that goes with the area and Vancouver in general. It is a great life here in Vancouver and everyday we feel privileged to work, live and play here.

Earth Hour Vancouver (

It started with a question: How can we inspire people to take action on climate change?

The answer: Ask the people of Sydney to turn off their lights for one hour.

On 31 March 2007, 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour. If the greenhouse reduction achieved in the Sydney CBD during Earth Hour was sustained for a year, it would be equivalent to taking 48,616 cars off the road for a year.
