Vancouver Home Marketing
Will technology really help sell my home?
The answer in simple….YES! If you are reading this blog then more than likely you browse mls.ca like 90% of today’s savy buyers who watch and study properties on the Internet. In fact many buyers will spend the majority of time making their purchase decisions on the Internet.
So now we are browsing on MLS and we are looking to find our dream home a Downtown Vancouver Condo apartment. We log into mls, punch in our criteria and up comes the list. Pay attention to which “cover photo” draws your eye…which property looks most appealing? Top Realtors in Vancouver, BC will enhance the listing by directly providing a multimedia link right on the public MLS. This will include a video of the property and a direct link to the website with much more information on the property. The cover photo is probably the single most important shot of your home. It needs to be incredible! If your home is on the market for 14 days…I change the photography. You can’t imagine the impact just this simple move makes. Top Vancouver Realtors are not photographers and won’t claim to be…part of our Home Marketing Plan is the hiring of a Professional Real Estate Photographer & Videographer.
Top Vancouver Agents…work by the philosophy “Are we providing enough information for a buyer to feel comfortable purchasing this property sight unseen?” yes folks it happens! Offshore/out of town buyers purchase properties that they can see, feel, and understand. Technology at the end of the day can mean the difference between 1 and 4 offers on your table.
Its amazing when I watch the number of expired listings in Vancouver….most of them have 1 photo of the outside of the house or building with no other photography? In today’s world of Real Estate Marketing…..you as the seller must ask yourself the question…how is my home being marketed to the public? If your home is currently for sale have you seen what it looks like on the mls compared to the other homes that are in your price range? Make sure you have the best Home Marketing Program helping to attract buyers to your home.

thank you for pointing this out, so often MLS listings have inferior images that give you no idea about the property. The right images can make all the difference for whether its worth pursuing a purchase or not. In Vancouver almost 30% of the listings have been on the market for over 90 days and this is while listings are few in number. Either that 30% is way overpriced or they have bad images that don’t sell the property properly.
